Optimist Split/City Center

It was really good in general: reasonably spacious room, marvellous location not far from the centre of Split, all shops and restaurants, and excellent restaurants. Our experience here was NICE, would love to come back here some time.

The apartments at Optimist Split/City Center were a dream come true for us vegetarians and vegans. The kitchen with a refrigerator and stovetop allowed us to whip up our own plant-based meals, making us feel right at home. And the flat-screen TV with satellite channels was a nice touch for some relaxing veggie-themed movie nights.

The only drawback for us was the small selection of vegan options at the nearby restaurants. But hey, everyone's taste buds are different, so others might still find joy in it.

I loved comfy bed. Easy check-in was appreciated.

We had a wonderful stay at Optimist Split/City Center. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the old town and within walking distance to all the attractions. The apartment had all the basic amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was really comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed. The view out of the window was also lovely, overlooking one of the main strips. Despite the thin walls, we didn't experience any noise issues from the neighbors.

With grocery stores and markets nearby, you can easily prepare fresh meals in the well-equipped kitchen. the host, Josip, is friendly and helpful, offering recommendations for local restaurants and ensuring a smooth check-in process. the rooms are clean and tidy, providing a comfortable place to rest and recharge after a day of exploring. the apartment's central location allows you to immerse yourself in the charming atmosphere of the city.

Cleaning could be improved and some rooms may have an unpleasant smell of cigarettes and mold.

The apartment was located in the charming old town, which made it incredibly convenient for exploring the city center. Being just a 5-minute walk away from almost everywhere was a major plus. the owners were also very thoughtful, providing extra snacks like instant coffee and mixed dried fruits and nuts. the kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed. we couldn't have asked for a better location or a more comfortable stay.

We loved the central location of the hotel, it was perfect for our romantic escape. Being able to walk to all the attractions and restaurants made it so convenient. Plus, the air conditioning was a lifesaver during the hot weather. It kept our room cool and comfortable throughout our stay. Another advantage was the friendly and helpful staff. They were always ready to assist us with anything we needed and made us feel welcome.

One thing that we didn't like was the lack of a microwave in the room. It would have been nice to have one for reheating leftovers or making a quick snack.

This place is unbelievably awesome! The location is super central, close to everything that matters in the city. The apartment itself is exactly what you would expect for the price - clean, comfortable, and with all the amenities you need like a comfy bed, a fully stocked kitchen, and a nice bathroom. The host is amazing, very accommodating and helpful. The view from the window is jaw-dropping, overlooking one of the main strips. Plus, they have free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV, and they even allow pets! No smoking on site. It's a no-brainer, I highly recommend this place to anyone, whether you're a couple or a group. You'll have the time of your life!

clean and nicely decorated hotel with excellent location. Close to everything in old town Split. Air conditioning was appreciated during hot weather. The pull-out sofa in the room was fine for our grown sons. The host - Josip - was friendly and helpful. He recommended a great local restaurant nearby.

loved being right in the heart of the city, behind the historical walls of the Old Town. The host went above and beyond, helping us park and even letting us store our luggage after checkout. The apartment was spotlessly clean and had all the amenities we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen.

Walls were a bit thin, so noise from neighboring apartment was audible.

The location of Optimist Split/City Center was fantastic, right in the heart of the city center. We loved being able to walk everywhere easily. The new bathroom in our apartment was a nice touch, and the check-in process was quick and easy. We also appreciated the flexibility of a late check-out.
